The Family Birthing Center at St. Luke’s Health–The Woodlands Hospital provides compassionate OBGYN care and a VIP—Very Important Pregnancy­—experience for every patient. Our 18-bed unit features spa-like private birthing suites that allow you to labor and deliver in the same room, opportunities for couplet care, and a Level II NICU for newborns who need extra care. We offer incomparable care and amenities to give every mother a healthy and happy birth day.

Our experienced healthcare professionals, including board-certified OBGYNs & neonatologists, obstetrical nurses, neonatal nurses, and support team are specially trained to make your stay as comfortable as possible. With our Nurse Navigator making the entire process easy and our expert medical team guiding you every step of the way, we offer comprehensive, patient-centered care that each mother and her family deserves. 

Our healthcare team is dedicated to working in partnership with Texas Children’s Hospitals in Houston to provide an additional level of care if needed. Lactation consultation from our trained team of registered nurses is also available to families who would like additional support.

As a Gold Certified Safe Sleep Champion facility according to the Cribs for Kids National Safe Sleep Hospital Certification program, we provide thorough guidance on how to keep your baby safe at bedtime. We also advocate for skin-to-skin contact after birth and breastfeeding when possible to additionally lower the risk of SIDS in infants.

We know that true caring and compassion are in the details of our service to you. For your added comfort, we provide a celebratory birth day cake upon your little one’s arrival, fruit and cheese tray, and complimentary valet parking. We offer in-room dining and complimentary Wi-Fi connection. Our commitment to give each mother a happy birth day is demonstrated through our approach to patient care and the atmosphere of our facility.
