Laboratory Services

St. Luke’s Health laboratory departments support physicians throughout the health system by performing testing services for diagnostic and therapeutic evaluations. Our teams include board-certified pathologists, scientists, certified medical technologists and technicians, phlebotomists, and other specialists.

Working collaboratively, and using the most advanced technology, our teams aid in diagnosing patients based on the results of laboratory analyses of microscopic and biopsy studies.

Our laboratories, directed by Baylor College of Medicine pathologists, are fully accredited by the College of American Pathologists and the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments.

Laboratory services are available at all St. Luke’s Health hospitals, Emergency Centers, and outpatient facilities. Appointments are not necessary, but physician orders are required.
